Upper Intermediate로 올라간지 2주가 지났습니다..

솔직히 Intermediate에서 수업을 들을때는 대부분 알아들을 수 있어서 Upper수업에 자신이 있었는데

2주동안 들은 상태에서는 많은 시련이 있네요.. ^^;; 자극이 있어야 공부를 더 하겠죠..??

음.. 제가 Intermediate부터 시작했기 때문에 Intermediate Class과 Upper Class의 차이를 말씀드릴께요..

Intermediate :

주로 Tense의 변화에 대해서 공부를 합니다.. 아울러 한국 고등학교 수준의 Vocabulary에 대해서 공부를 하지요..

Grammar의 경우 중,고등학교 영어수업을 착실히 이해하신 분이라면 그다지 어렵지는 않습니다..

개인적으로 어려웠던 부분은 Past Perfect와 Imaginary situation in the past with if 였습니다..

제가 봤을 때 Pre inter와 inter의 차이는 Tense에 대한 이해도와 Voca의 차이입니다..

Upper Intermediate :

Tense에 대해서 대부분 알고 있다는 가정하에 수업을 진행합니다..

Grammar적인 부분을 말씀드리면 Future Continuous와 Future Perfect의 차이..(개인적으로 아직도 혼동됩니다.ㅜㅜ)

Relative clauses(Defining relative와 Nondefining relative의 차이..)등에 대해서 집중적으로 공부합니다..

주로 Writing과 Reading 쪽에 무게가 실리기 시작합니다.. 물론 Upper도 Speaking을 하긴 하지만..

Inter때에 비해서 Speaking의 비중이 좀 낮아집니다.. 아무래도 배우는 양이 많아서 그런 듯 싶습니다..

단 한번을 제외하고 모든 수업이 쉬는 시간까지 계속될 정도로 그 수업의 양이 많습니다..

Vocabulary적인 측면을 말씀드리면 Intermediate까지는 각 분야별 개별 단어를 많이 공부하는데

Upper intermediate는 Phrasal Verb와 Synonyms과 antonyms에 대해서 공부를 많이 합니다..

제 weakpoint가 Preposition인데.. 이 쪽에 대해서도 어느정도 알고 있다는 가정하에 수업을 해서 좀 애를 먹고 있네요.. ^^;

지난번에 말씀드린 대로 한국의 문법수업은 그 수준이 최상이라고 자신합니다..

유학을 준비하시는 분들..

제발 그냥 오지 마시고 어느 정도 준비를 하고 오세요..

한국에서 3달을 준비하시면 여기서 5달을 아낄 수 있습니다..

이왕 유학이나 어학연수 오는 것 자금도 아끼고 시간도 아끼고 효율도 높이고 얼마나 좋나요~!

참고로 어제 배운 정말 많이 쓰이는 Phrasal verb에 대해서 적을께요.. 순서는 제 맘대로 입니다.. ^^;
