THE CHOI CITY SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
When the seafood restaurant known as Choi City first opened its doors in Banilad Town
Centre, on November 19, 2011, it became the first provincial branch of
the Choi chain of
restaurants, which is based in Manila. Choi Tak Pui, a Hong Kong restaurateur, founded the restaurant chain, and a group of local foodies, namely Sharon Go-Ong, Norman Condon, Frank Lao, and Jay Tan brought Choi City to Cebu. Before the restaurant opened, all its
chefs and kitchen crew trained in Manila under Mr. Choi himself, to ensure that Choi City serves the same quality and flavor as the Choi restaurants
there.
This is the best Chinese Restaurant in Cebu. The Chefs and cooks are
Chinese and know their craft very well. The Peking Duck we had was
superb as was the Chilli crab. The Lapu Lapu Steamed fish was very well cooked and the fish was presented before cooking. Could not be fresher. Wine list also reasonable.
The service is very good. Food is served on time. Their steamed swahe/
shrimp is very good, as is their steamed lapu lapu. Their roast duck
cooked 3 ways is good, except that the 3rd part which is the minced
meat, had too much chopped turnips that act as fillers, to make it look
more.
layered pork or some kind of lechon kawali

Choi city has the best tasting Chinese food in cebu. They have the best
choices of live seafood, roastings, and dimsums. The prices they have
are all worth the pay, since you can really tell that they use the finest
ingredients. Nothing can also beat the excellent service they provide.
When it comes to service, all I can say is, Choi City staff have been
trained to give you the best service. It was overwhelming.
