Hello, I am Jiyeon. I arrived here in the Philippines last December 11, 2011 at 1am. It was Jay who encouraged me to join the CIA Camp. My parents both agree for me to join because Jay’s parent and my parents are friends.

During the first day in CIA I played with my roommate at night. On that day I felt nervous because I will take the level test. My first friend in CIA was Jay. My friend Jay told me about the CIA English Camp. As the classes started, I met my teachers at first I am very nervous but they are good to me.

In CIA, there are lots of activities we had SM Mall mission and shopping. We ride on the edge coaster, home visit and many more. The activity that I like the most here in CIA was during the Christmas Party because it is my first time to celebrate Christmas here in the Phillippines and it has lots of difference from Korea. Also, I got a present and then, both teachers and students danced and participated to the party. All these activities are fun.

The things that I’ve learned in CIA are everything about English. In each class I had, it helped me to improve my communication skills, grammar and vocabulary. Also, I was able to develop my reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. I study English because I wanted to develop my skills in English in order for me to communicate well to other people, and in the future when I became a teacher I could teach my students well and share to them everything that I’ve learned. English language is important this is the international language that everywhere you go English is present.

If I am given the chance to join another CIA English Camp, I would be willing to join because it helped me a lot to improve my English skills a lot.
