Sinanggiyaw Festival emphasize through the parade of harvesting and showing agricultural products such as rice, corn, coconut, camote and banana in their colorful costumes.
Every year, the Sinanggiyaw Festival draws together exhibitors, song, dance, and other cultural performances to give thanks for a full and good harvest. The festival's name comes from two Cebuano words, "sinanggi," meaning abundant harvest, and "sayaw," or dance.
Through street dancing and field presentation, performers shall dance merrily bringing all the Sinanggi-performance focused on three aspects: planting, harvesting and thanksgiving.
