Lawin-Lawin -a traditional Filipino game played by any number of players, where the players act as a Hawk, a Hen, and chicks. The objective of the game is for the Hawk to get all the chicks of the Hen.
Movements :
The largest/biggest player is chosen as the Mother Hen. Another player is chosen as the Hawk. The rest of the players fall behind the Mother Hen according to their heights, putting their arms around the waist of the chick in front. When the Mother Hen and her chicks are ready, they notify the Hawk, who runs around and around the Hen and her chicks at the end of the line. Mother Hen faces the hawk and tries to keep him away from the chicks with arms stretched sidewards. If the ,line is broken and the chicks are separated from the Hen, they run away from the Hawk, but try to join the Hen again and to assemble in the form of a flock. Chicks caught are put away by the Hawk, who returns for more until he gets all the chicks from the Hen. The game is ended when all the chicks are caught by the Hawk.
