Blue Elephant Restaurant in Cebu is located at the lower ground level of The Walk which is an area that holds most of Cebus popular restaurants. Me and my friends dined at this restaurant back in September but I was only able to blog about it today. It can be a place that you can spend a special dinner with your loved ones, friends, and family.
Theres really more to this restaurant than just its splendid and unique ambiance. Being a world class restaurant brand, Blue Elephant is known to provide the best Royal Thai Cuisine of your choice. I am always a fan of elegant looking restaurants but this provides a whole new experience in dining compared to others. The food was definitely tasty and bears the unique taste of Thai cuisines that I typically prefer.
In our dining experience atBlue Elephant Restaurant in Cebu, the servers where very accommodating and friendly and when we were seated they served us tasty peanuts that all of us gobbled up in a short time. The only drawback was the time we spent waiting for the food. It took them around 20 minutes which wasnt a good thing. But once our food was served we soon forgot about the waiting time.
For our appetizer, we ordered their Spicy Chicken Skin which costs P75. It was made of fried chicken skin fairly spiced with red chili powder in peanut curry sauce. While waiting for the rest of the orders, we couldnt help but gobble down on this dish as well.
The Thai Imbotido is served fresh. If you dislike Imbotidos, your perception of the food will change. You'll love Imbotido then on. That's how good the Thai Imbotido tastes in this restaurant.
Blue Elephant Restaurant in Cebu also offers Pad Thai Noodles which is an arrangement of classic Thai rice noodle stir-fried with shrimps, bean sprouts, tofu, spring onions and egg while topped with crushed peanuts. The serving cost P130.
The new version of Chicken in Yellow Curry was another one of my favorites. It costs P180 for one serving which can be pricey but we never regretted ordering this dish. This dish offers complexly flavored yellow curry which is an absolute exotic flavor to savor.
For dessert, we ordered their Sticky Rice with Mango Balls for P65. This dish looked a little too Filipino at first but the taste was entirely different with a touch of Thai.
