So we hope you brought your appetite today as we give you a walkthrough on UNO Restaurant’s buffet.

Uno would be the very first restaurant you’ll come across as you pass the cobblestone strip at the Gourmet Walk ( if coming in from the main lobby) of the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Lahug. The buffet restaurant offers a spread of International, Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian and Asian cuisine.

The big square section carries the appetizers, salad bar, a good cheese selection, Japanese and International dishes. The other square section holds the dimsum and Filipino dishes. The long stretched counter is where the roasts, Mongolian and grilling stations are. And last but not the least, the dessert section!

I love cheeses! Two of my favorites are the creamy milky brie and the grassy – fruity taste of emmental. The soup of the day was Pumpkin Ginger soup was really good, flavorful and surprisingly the ginger taste was just right without overpowering the pumpkin taste, or vice versa. The Mongolian station where you can pick your own ingredients for your perfect Mongolian plate is also a personal favorite. And all- you- eat crepes and make-your own halo-halo at the dessert station would be heaven to those who loves sweets!

I love buffets and with a good selection and variety, Uno Restaurant is one of the city hotel buffets that gives value for money and that can put a big smile on my face while rubbing my happy tummy when walking my way out of the restaurant.
