FALLEN

    lyrics

by: Janno Gibbs

Ooh yeah
Yeah yeah

Our little conversations are turning into little sweet sensations
And they're only getting sweeter every time
Our friendly get-togethers are turning into visions of forever
If I just believe this foolish heart of mine

REFRAIN
I can't pretend that I'm just a friend
'Cause I'm thinkin' maybe we were meant to be

CHORUS
I think I'm fallin', fallin' in love with you
And I don't, I don't know what to do
I'm afraid you'll turn away
But I'll say it anyway
I think I'm fallin'(fallin') for you
I'm fallin'(fallin') for you

Whenever we're together, I'm wishin' that goodbyes would turn to never
'Cause with you is where I always wanna be
Whenever I'm beside you, all I really wanna do is hold you
No one else but you has meant this much to me

REFRAIN
I can't pretend (no) that I'm just a friend (I'm just a friend)
'Cause I'm thinking maybe we were meant to be

CHORUS
I think I'm fallin', fallin' in love with you (I)
And I don't, I don't know what to do (yeah, yeah)
I'm afraid you'll turn away (I'm afraid you'll turn away)
But I'll say it anyway (yeah)

I think I'm fallin', fallin' in love with you (I think I'm fallin')
And I don't, I don't know what to do (and I don't know what to do)
I'm afraid you'll turn away (I'm afraid you'll turn away)
But I'll say it anyway (anyway)
I think I'm fallin'(fallin') for you
I'm fallin'(fallin') for you

CODA
I'm fallin', I'm fallin' for you
I'm fallin', fallin' for you
And I don't know what to do, yeah yeah

Fall, I'm fallin' for you

The Story of Janno Gibbs

Janno Ronaldo Gibbs is a famous singer, an actor and a good comedian. He is popularly known as

"Janno Gibbs" dubbed as the King of Soul in the Philippine music industry. He is best known for

his soul-captivating songs such as “Ipagpatawad Mo”, “Ikaw Lamang”, “Fallin” and other Pinoy

ballads. Inspired from the likes of Frank Sinatra, he considered his dad as his model in person. In

comedy, he likes Joey, Vic and Dolphy and was considered as one of the most promising young

comedians of the country.

He was born on September 18, 1969 in Manila, Philippines. His father is Ronaldo Valdez, a famous

Filipino veteran actor. He started his career in showbiz on 1986 in That’s Entertainment, teen

variety show of GMA Network as one of its members. His love tandem with Manilyn Reynes was

widely accepted by the public. This recognition prompted Mother Lily to sign them as contract stars of Regal Films. Prior to his contract, Janno starred already with Dolphy and Panchito in the movie

Kalabog en Bosyo. The love team was a hit in 80’s, starring in several movies like Stupid Love, Love Letter and others. Their tandem became a real-life relationship. Janno eventually involved with Bing Loyzaga who started her career as a contract star of Viva Films. The Janno-Manilyn tandem died out when Bing got pregnant and born Alyssa in 1989. The couple was married in 1990.

Gifted with soulful singing voice, Vicor Records re-launched Janno as a solo singer. “Miss”, his first single obtained lukewarm response from critics and the public. He began doing concerts throughout

the country. From teenybopper image, he successfully turned into a new leaf with more concerts, more music album and more comedy shows.

His comedic approach was recognized by Viva Films when he started as side kicks in comedy flicks

during the Janno-Manilyn love team. This promise as comedian mushroomed as he starred with Ogie Alcasid and Manilyn Reynes in Feel Na Feel on 1990. He also started appearing together with other

comedians as Dennis Padilla and Andrew E. in movies.

Janno Gibbs teamed up with Ogie Alcasid in ”Small Brothers”, a spoof concert of Gary Valenciano-Ray Ann Fuentes “Soul Brothers” on 1990. Both singers were talented though lack of height, became an instant hit among the public. On the same, their tandem hosted Small Brothers, the TV version of the hit concert on ABS-CBN. It was aired for two seasons only.

He paired Regine Velasquez in the musical play, Kenkoy Loves Rosing. His tandem with Regine was praised but became an issue for tabloids claiming that the two started forbidden relationship. It makes his wife Bing very much mortified and perplexed. Nevertheless, the issue quickly subsided though they started to work again in “Magkasuyo Buong Gabi”, the remake of Rico J. Puno in 1993.

His sitcom Ober Da Bakod of GMA Network served his turning point in the field of comedy. He played with Anjo Yllana, Gelli de Belen and Donita Rose on 1992. It became a hit and soon after, he was given the opportunity to launch his own movie as a solo artist in 1994.

His character as Pedro Penduko was his turning point in his movie career. The movie was entitled

Ang Pagbabalik Ni Pedro Penduko which was an official entry to Metro Manila Film Festival. The

movie became a hit and made Janno as one of the most promising comedian of the country. It was

followed by several films such as “Mauna Ka Susunod Ako”, “Honey Nasa Langit Na Ba Ako?”,

“Tusong Twosome”, “Weyt A Minit Kapeng Mainit” and “uan And Ted: Wanted”.

He also hosted Dobol Inkredibol on ABC-5 and was featured regularly in GMA’s sitcoms, “Manoy

en Mokong” and “Beh Bote Nga”.

In addition to his spotlight in comedy, he played as talented crooner best known as Inspector Clavio in Lupin which many viewers have come to adore and one of the leading gagster in Nuts Entertainment.

Currently, he stayed as host in GMA’s noontime shows, S.O.P. Rules and Eat Bulaga! and a show for all ages entitled Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5?.
