I don't need a lot of things
I can get by with nothing
With all the blessings life can bring
I've always needed something
But i've got all i want
When it comes to lovin' you
You're my only reason, you're my only truth
***
I need you like water, like breathe, like rain
I need you like mercy from Heaven's gate
There's a freedom in your arms, that carries me through I need you
***
You're the hopes that moves me
To courage again
You're the love that rescues me
When the cold winds rage
And it's amazin' cause that's just
How you are and I can't turn back now
Cause you brought me too far
***
I need you like water, like
breathe, like rain
I need you like mercy from Heaven's gate there's a freedom in your arms
that carries me through
I need you
***
Oh yes I do, Oh
I need you like water, like
breathe, like rain
I need you like mercy from Heaven's gate
There's a freedom in your arms
That carries me through
I need you
Oh yes I do,
I need you
Oh, oh, oh
I need you, oh-ho

While that wasn't his calling to stardom, he continued to sing and improve his singing skills.
When the Star for a Night competition came, money became a problem, and he thought that he was going to miss this big opportunity. His Mother provided him with money to go to Cebu as a birthday gift. He wnet to Manila to finish the audition process. He passed all three levels of the Star For A Night auditions and made it to the grand finals. he said: "I can never forget that experience.
