 by international acts and upcoming featured local and international artist.

 Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union.

For seven years in a row, La Union,

 in cooperation with the Provincial Government,

 Department of Tourism and the La Union Surf Club, has

 been holding an annual Surf Break event to celebrate the beauty

 of its waves and the thrill of its surf competition. This year, the goal is to

go deeper into the roots of surfing and strengthen the image of La Union's lively culture

by combining surfing, arts and music. People from different regions will flock towards the

great shores of La Union and make this 8th year the most successful surfing music festiva

l in the country.

 

 

Poks Forever Surf Competition & Awarding

 

Some history for first timers in La Union, Ronie "Poks" Esquivel

 is La Union's world-famous one-legged wondersurfer who awed many and

 inspired far more. The1st Annual Stokedinc. POKS FOREVER Surf Competition is in

loving memory of a friend ...and brother.
