Juego de Prenda is a traditional game played

 in the Philippines. The term is of Spanish

 origin which literally means 'Game of Penalty'.

 The game simply follows the rule where the

 players sit in a circle and adopt the name of

 a tree for boys and flowers for girls. The 'it'

will tell the story of a lost bird and asks the players,

 'The bird of the king was lost yesterday. Did

you find it, (name of tree or flower)? The

 person who got the name of the tree or flower

should answer before the third or else he or

she will have to give the it something he or she

 owns until the 'it' gathers a sufficient number

 to ask the other trees whether the bird has

 hidden in them. If a player cannot answer

after the third count, he or she is made to

 deposit a thing he or she owns to the leader

until the leader has been able to gather a lot

 of things from the members.The Boy is

choosing a tree.The Girl is choosing a flower.

 tagalog this game is played so that people

 will not fall asleep while watching the dead.
