Pitik Bulag is a popular game played by Filipino children and adults alike – popular, due to its simplicity. I remember playing this with my dad and brother when I was a kid. I am now playing this with my own kids and it is still as fun.
Literally, “pitik” means flicking with a finger and “bulag” means blind or not being able to see. This game thus means flicking of the finger on the person who is blind (in this case, the “taya” covers his eye with his hand).
level: EASY
number of players: 2
equipment needed: NONE
how to play:
One player (taya) covers his eyes with one hand. The other player flicks a finger over the hand covering the opponent’s eye (pitik). They both then quickly choose a number and show it with their fingers (i.e. number 2 using 2 fingers). If the “taya” guesses the correct number of fingers, he wins a turn to do the flicking.
ENJOY!!!
