WOODEN SCOOTER RACE

AMAZING RACE. Young and old male villagers in Banaue, Ifugao, in northern Manila, Philippines join the 4.5-kilometer wooden scooter race last April 16, 2008 as one of the main highlights of the “Imbayah Festival” held every three years. The cultural festival is the grandest celebration marking the passage of one person and his family from common folk to nobility status in the community.

Based on these types of extraordinary hand made vehicle, people have strolled or have ridden these rented bicycles on the broad avenues. It's also tiring to imagine that if u wanted to go back from the topmost of the scene, you have to push your own vehicle.
