I arrived here in the Philippines on December 25, 2011. At first I really felt scared because this is my first time in CIA and my parents are far away from me. Luckily, my sister Yuri is with me here in the camp. My teacher in Korea advised me to join the camp.
Our first day was just about orientation of rules and regulation and about CIA, the teachers and Korean staff.
My first friends here were Sam, Charley, Tom, Michal and the other Mike. As the time goes by I had plenty of friends already. They helped me in solving Math lessons. I sometimes miss my parents but because of my busy schedule here in CIA, I set aside that feeling.
During weekend we spent our time outside the camp to lessen the stress we are feeling. My favorite activity of all was the SM shopping because I was able to buy many foods like pizza, drinks, and chicken which are my favorite foods.
For me English is very important because as a Korean thats the only language that foreigner can understand me. My stay here for 4 weeks was great. I was able to meet my goal somehow because of the Filipino teachers that are friendly, patient, and dedicated with their work.
If I would be given an opportunity to come back, I would.
