On Friday, I took the Demo Class according to the schedule planned by manager, Melisa.
The demo class has the purpose to search for the classes that suit for each student.
The curriculum in Phil-ace consists of 4 hours of 1:1 class and 4 hours of group class.
Also, the 1:1 classes are divided by speaking&writing classes and reading&idiom classes
and we can select the two group classes
that we want to take among the speaking, listening, P.S.R, CNN and native classes.
Usually, there are 4 people in one group class,
however, some classes such as P.S.R. CNN and native classes are limited that students
who is over developing level can take.
Level is divided by three levels such as basic, developing and wider level.
And each level is divided again by three levels, so the number of all levels is 9.
As mentioned above, some group classes are limited to students over developing level
and 1:1 teachers are different according to the level.
The difference of teachers between basic and developing level is the speaking speed.
Until now there is no students in wider level.
After official classes, students should take vocabulary class.
It is also divided by level and after vocabulary class,
students can choose whether take free group class or not.
There are P.S.R and CNN class in free group class
and the contents in P.S.R class are similar to those of business English class in Korea
and sometimes students have a chance to do presentation in P.S.R class. |
