Cuchinta - its a sticky round dessert that you can eat alone or dip into dried coconut. The texture would be like a tapioca ball/jelly like. Rice flour is mixed with water, dark brown sugar and lye water then poured into moulds. Kutsinta (or cuchinta) is cooked by steaming. Served with niyog (grated coconut), they make a filling
Palitao - made from glutinous rice flour mixed with water and (usually) boiled in water. It is eaten with a mixture of freshly grated coconut, sugar and roasted sesame seeds. It got it's name from the root word litaw which means to appear. Coz once the rice patties appears on the surface of the boiled water, that means it's cooked!
