The Story of Nyoy Volante

Nino Del Mar Volante is a famous Filipino singer. He is known for his nickname Nyoy Volante. He is the voice behind the hit songs ���Nasaan���, ���What Do I Do���, ���Ha��� and his own renditions of songs like ���Each Day With You���, ���Panalangin���, ���Kahit Kailan���, ���Panaginip���, ���Narito Ka���, ���Eto Na Naman��� and ���Beep-Beep���. He was initially dubbed as ���The Prince of Acoustic Pop��� but lived up his title as ���The King of Pop-Acoustic��� while singing Nassan. Aside from the monikers mentioned, he is also considered as the ���Masters of Guitars���.

His passion for music was discovered by Vehnee Saturno, a hitmaker songwriter and record producer. Dubbed as The Prince of Acoustic Pop, Nyoy keep on evolving as an artist and develops his God-given talent. Being a versatile musician, he can easily shift from pop to rock to jazz.

Aside from being an expert in singing, Nyoy is also a creative songwriter who can easily compose words and melodies and writes songs for artists like Nina like ���Someday��� & ���I Need Your Love���, Joaqui like ���Bore With You��� and ���Maghihintay��� for Nicole Joy.

Nyoy is also in demand on TV and radio commercials. He composed, arranged and recorded jingles like Dahil Smart Tayo (Smart Communication), Parang Kapiling (Smart Links), Ann (Pantene), Binibini (San Miguel Beer), You���re My You (Ellipse Cologne), Bahagi Ng Buhay (PLDT Payphone), You���re My You (Nestle Kitkat), Tiendesitas Mall Jingle and others.

He made collaborations in TV and movie themes like ���Esperanca: The Movie���, ���Wansapanatym��� and ���Maging Sino Ka Man��� of GMA Network. His stage performances are really outstanding with his exceptional musical prowess and competency.

He already performed with top artists of the country such as Gary V., Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez, Sharon Cuneta, APO Hiking Society, Kuh Ledesma, Ogie Alcasid, Jose Mari Chan, Ramon Jacinto, Nina, Jasmine Trias, Sitti and Paolo Santos.

Nyoy is also an international artist as he performed major shows abroad in Vancouver, Canada for Philippine Independence Day. He was also seen with Regine Velasquez, Rica Paralejo and Bayani Agbayani in Kuwait, in Bahrain with Regine, in the U.S. with Nina and also in Hawaii, Hong Kong and London to name the few.

Nyoy already released several albums in his sojourn on showbusiness. Accoustic: Nyoy Volate with Mannos was released on 2003. This was followed by another NV&M on 2004 and OPM Klasiks on 2005. A compilation album of the first three albums was released dubbed as Umagang Kay Ganda. On 2006, Nyoy released his Nyoy Volante: Now Hear This. All the album were released under Vicor Music Corporation.

Nyoy is a multi-awarded artist garnering several awards from Shanghai Music Festival, PARI, Awit and Aliw Awards and MTV. His song Someday won the People���s Choice Favorite Song of the Year award from the 20th Awit Awards.

Nyoy was blazed with new ardour as he teaches young kids how to perform and sing at H.E.R.O.E.S. (Honing, Enhancing, Refining of Entertainers School). His family put up the new school in order to give back the blessing Nyoy has been receiving. Nyoy ever wanted to share his God-given talent to those who are interested to become a singers or a performer. The school encourages the students to enhance their skills and boosts their self-confidence. He is described as a cool teacher who let his students show their talents as unique individuals. The school also provides courses such as Performer Essentials, Advanced Performer, Basic Musician, Singing Musician and Special Training.
