Araw ng Dabaw

Every 16th of March, Davao City celebrates the Araw ng Dabaw. Araw ng Dabaw is not just a one day celebration but the whole week starting March 16.
 
The Araw ng Dabaw is celebrated to show the unity of the Dabawenyos.
 
Celebrities will not be absent on this day. Many celebrity stars will be coming to join the fun here in Davao.
 
 

There will be blogging contest, video contest, Band, Singing Competition, A Civic-Military Parade, Araw ng Dabaw Fun Run, Bangkathon (Boating contest) sa Davao Gulf 2012 and many more.
 
 

Although there are numerous events held, the beauty pageant “Mutya ng Dabaw” is the most anticipated one.
