The San Pablo City town fiesta every January 15 is always preceeded by a one week Coconut Festival, culminating on the 14th with street dancing and coconut parade competitions.

local and foreign tourists, pilgrims and other spectators will flock to San Pablo City in Laguna, about three hours ride from Metro Manila, to witness the Coconut Festival.

The Coconut Festival is the city’s tourist attraction every year. Coconut is a major industry in Laguna; and with the festival, the people in the city show their gratitude to the Lord for bountiful harvest. Participants in colorful costumes dance, sing, play instruments and ride in different floats.
