CAPTAIN A'S SEAFOOD AND GRILL
CAPTAIN As navigates through the sea of restaurants and hangouts in Cebu City on a bigger and better ship.
Following two years in Cebu IT Park, Captain As Seafood Grill docks its anchor at the Capitol Site. Verarose Escuadro, the restaurants marketing manager, tells Sun.Star Cebu that the new two-storey location enables them to accommodate more customers.
Apart from the main restaurant, Captain As now has four function rooms that would cater to big groups of people. It also has a separate open space for customers to enjoy live acoustic bands, as well as two karaoke rooms, each good for 20 people.
Also new at Captain As is a coffee shop called Kapihan sa Captain As. It offers Filipino special coffees such as barako coffee, rice coffee, durian coffee and corn coffee. All these go well with their snack offerings like binignit suman, budbud, bibingka and the like.
Captain As is known as the Home of the Boodle Fight Experience, having incorporated the concept of the boodle fight (a military tradition involving eating food off banana leaves or old newspapers) to casual dining.
Currently, there are six boodles to choose from, all of which come with two kinds of rice (except the Birthday Boodle, which has pancit) and six to eight different dishes (including soup), dessert, and a round of iced tea. The plain rice is unlimited, and the iced tea has a bottomless option for an additional fee,
Let your boodle fight commence at Captain As new location, and visit them along Don Jose Avila St., Capitol Site, Cebu City. Also visit their official website at http://www.captain-as.com/.
