The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) expects to formalize fare rollbacks for buses and jeeps when it meets anew with representatives of transport groups Tuesday.

There will be a rollback of 50 centavos for jeepney fare  for the first 4 km and P1 for buses for the first five km.The LTFRB chairman Thomson Lantion already talked with the transport group representatives who agreed to the rollback principle.

The stakeholders agreed to it through backdoor negotiation.

I hope this will really be implemented because many of the commuters already suffer because of  the high fare and because of this the commodities are also high..So this is really a good news to all Filipinos because we can celebrate the holiday season with joy and laughter in our heart. And many will face the new year with a smile...
