I had a great weekend. I did not go to work last Friday with the permission of my Managers for me to attend my dad's 1st death anniversary. I actually went home on Thursday night and arrived early morning on Friday in my hometown Cagayan de Oro. Going to my place is either by boat or by plane. And I decided to ride a boat going to my place which is about nine hours, so it's an overnight ride. I met a new friend inside the boat, she's on my lower deck. She's really nice and I got to meet her adoring daughter Chloe who is a year and four months old. She's married to a British husband. We have the same hometown and they are going there to have Chloe baptized. She told me she's soo tired already because they've just arrived in Cebu all the way from England. It's was nice talking to her, at least I wasn't bored with my trip. I was picked up by my cousin when I arrived at the port. I saw my family, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew in the cemetery and it was good seeing them again. We prayed the novena and after they went to our place for a simple get together dinner. I can't believe time easily flies. It was hard getting over my dad's death before and now I can already accept it and made me realized were just on a borrowed life. And I am thankful to God for everything. On Monday, I went to our lawyer and have an affidavit of my stolen ID's so that I can renew them. I have renewed already my Drivers License and ATM Card. I just need to follow up my Social Security ID and TIN ID. I just arrived in Cebu earlier today, I just had a quick shower and place my stuffs in my boarding house and went here for work. =)
